Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting handmade pottery! Every order is packed with care from my studio to ensure your pieces arrive safely and beautifully.

1. Processing Time

All ready-to-ship items are processed within 3–5 business days after purchase.
Pre-order and made-to-order pieces may take 2–3 weeks to complete before shipping.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.
All orders are shipped via USPS or UPS with tracking information provided once your package is on its way.

Estimated delivery times:
    •    Domestic (U.S.): 3–7 business days
    •    International: 2–4 weeks (depending on customs and location)

3. Damaged or Lost Packages

Each item is carefully packaged for safe delivery, but if your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 3 days of delivery at info@albalaredoceramics.com with photos of the item and packaging. I’ll work with you to replace or refund your piece.
I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they’ve been marked as delivered, but I’ll do my best to help you locate them.

4. Local Pickup (Optional)

If you’re local to Kansas City, Missouri, you may select Local Pickup at checkout. You’ll receive an email when your order is ready for pickup.

5. Sustainability

I use eco-friendly and recyclable packaging materials whenever possible to care for both your pottery and the planet. 🌿

Pre-Order Policy

Thank you for supporting handmade pottery! Each pre-order item is crafted with care in my studio, and I take pride in ensuring that every piece meets the highest quality standards.

1. Processing & Production Time

All pre-order items are made to order. Please allow 2–3 weeks for production before shipping. This time frame includes throwing, drying, glazing, and kiln firing.

2. Shipping

Once your order is complete, you will receive an email notification with tracking information. Shipping times vary depending on your location, but most U.S. orders arrive within 3–7 business days after shipment.

3. Cancellations & Changes

Because each piece is handmade to order, cancellations or changes must be made within 24 hours of placing your pre-order. After that, your item will move into production and cannot be canceled or modified.

4. Returns & Exchanges

Pre-order items are final sale. However, if your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact me within 3 days of delivery at info@albalaredoceramics.com, and I’ll be happy to assist you with a replacement or refund.

5. Handmade Variations

Each piece is unique — small variations in color, texture, and shape are part of what makes your pottery one of a kind. These differences are celebrated as a mark of true craftsmanship.
